A word from the Director

ANNE LE NAOUR

ANNE LE NAOUR

Executive Director

From my youth, immersed in the world of gastronomy beside my parents, to my studies as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, to the management of the Group’s properties, my passion for wine has never diminished. Not having been brought up in the vineyards, I went in search of experience – the Loire, Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Australia – before joining Bernard Magrez’s wine merchant company as Cellar Manager and then, soon afterwards, as Technical and Administrative Director. Nine years later, in 2010, I became technical director of the Crédit Agricole Group’s Bordeaux properties, and then deputy executive director in 2016. Since 2019, I have managed all the properties. How can one not be fascinated by this fruit of the earth, that Man transformed into wine, and which has evolved, over centuries of culture, to represent a way of life? This is a profession with so many possibilities and challenges!
« Making the right decisions today,
for tomorrow »
My ambitions: To increase the profitability of our properties in order to go further in our commitment to producing great wines; to significantly improve human and environmental values.
My strengths: Without any doubt, our incredibly motivated, dynamic teams, driven by the same broad, responsible vision. Also, perspective and humility. With vines, we have to work on a different time scale. The results of efforts made now will be seen in terms of decades. Every day, we must plan for the future. And we must maintain the same passion and drive.

Team

The members of our cross-functional team have the perfect combination of abilities and expertise. They provide support for the technical teams at our various properties on a daily basis. A collective dynamic that makes a vital contribution to the development and sustainability of our wine properties.

TO BUILD
A FERTILE
SUSTAINABLE
FUTURE

For many years CA Grands Crus Vignobles & Services has made it a priority to combine quality and sustainable development. From 2004, individual initiatives were undertaken for each property, leading to a comprehensive structuring of our approach in 2012. This commitment was reflected in the 2016 vintage with the obtaining of collective HEV 3 and ISO 14001 certification as members of the Bordeaux Wine EMS. At the same time, we have accelerated CSR initiatives within each property.

NOur policy integrates these commitments into the Group's core values: vigilance towards our terroirs, adopting a sustainable agriculture approach; the key role of women and men through the social and societal aspects of our operations and the preservation of essential natural resources. In short, a balance between protection of the environment, social values and economic sustainability. This fundamental ethic underpins all our CSR commitments in order to strengthen our credibility, consistency and effectiveness in achieving our objectives. Our activity in wine-producing areas benefits local businesses and promotes a circular economy. This is reflected in our infrastructure design.

TO BUILD A FERTILE, SUSTAINABLE FUTURE »
